A multidisciplinary artist, she has cultivated diverse territories ranging from photography to the editing of documentaries and fiction works. Trained with great stage personalities such as Josef Svoboda, Iago Pericot, Peter Brook, or Werner Herzog, she has been part of creative teams in opera, theater and film productions, at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, the Mercat de les Flors, as well as in film productions awarded at festivals such as San Sebastian, Guadalajara or Tallinn.
Founding partner of the company Shaktimetta Producción, she has contributed as editor, director of photography and producer, to the development and production of fiction feature films, documentaries and various video creations that reflect on the status of the image in the digital age. Likewise, these works are considered as referents in the critical production of the representation of non-normative identities and corporealities.
As a filmmaker, she won the Accem Award for the best refugee video creation “Noticias de paz” (2004) and the Radical Democracy Award for the best experimental video creation, “La cara oculta de la libertad” exhibited and delivered in Warsaw (2014).
As a visual artist and photographer she has exhibited her work on dissident bodies in the exhibition, “De disturbios, lutos y fiestas ” at the Centro de Estudios Independientes del MACBA, curated by Lucía Egaña (2020).
At the Palacio de La Virreina Centre de la Imatge, she has exhibited her work as a photographer and editor of various video creations in the exhibition “La noche incandescente, viaje al fondo del querer vivir”, curated by Valentín Roma (2021).
As an editor she has participated in the creation of the great exhibition of the 40th anniversary of the Teatre Lliure, at the Palau de la arquitectura, Barcelona (2016).
She has been art director, editor, photographer and executive producer of the Betevé program “Trévoles de 4 Fulles”, awarded with the Zapping prize for the best local TV program (2018).
She has produced, edited and directed the photography for the short film and video clip for Nacho Vegas “La última atrocidad” (2018).
As a teacher she has taught the photography direction workshops for Talents Guadalajara Mexico (2018).
As director of photography and editor, she has worked on internationally awarded feature films such as “Armugán” (Ecumenical Jury Awards, PÖFF24 | Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Best Film Jules Verne, at the 30e Festival du Cinéma Español de Nantes) ” Vivir y otros ficciones “(Antigone d’Or best film Cinemed, Violette d’Or best film Cinespaña)” ” Fake Orgasm” (Silver Biznaga for Best Film Malaga), “El Taxista ful” (Special Jury Mention at the San Sebastian International Film Festival 2005 Jules Verne Award for Best Film) among others.
